This project focused on redesigning the vinyl cover for the song "Interstellar Overdrive" as part of the "Sounding Type" unit. The objective was to capture the intricate layers of music, such as guitar, bass, treble, drums, and organ, and translate this musical complexity visually.

The use of acrylic paint and glue introduced a dynamic, rhythmic flow to the typography, symbolising the interplay of these instruments. The subtle influence of psychedelia was further captured through splattered glitter paint on a black background. At the same time, the final colour palette was meticulously refined to achieve a cohesive and polished aesthetic.
